The Topic

Innovation and risk taking are no doubt a risky business for not-for-profits seeking to challenge traditional operating practices and funding sources, in order to stay relevant in a quickly changing environment. This presentation will provide a refresher for not-for-profit directors and committee members regarding their legal duties, and the protections available to them under the law, as well as assisting. The presentation will also assist not-for-profits and charities to understand how they can take advantage of the key innovative approaches currently prevalent in the sector, including collaborations, mergers and commercialisation, so that for them, 2016 can be a year of innovation.
