About the Company

Revise Recruitment has partnered with Exemplar Global to recruit a Sales & Business Development Manager.

Exemplar Global is an international not-for-profit organisation specialising in professional certification, credentialing and training provider recognition.

The organisation works with certification bodies, training providers and industry partners to assess and recognise professional competence, strengthen industry standards and support workforce development.

Its work spans industries including quality management, environmental management, food safety and workplace health and safety, helping professionals demonstrate their expertise against recognised standards.

About the Role

Reporting to the Global Sales Manager, based in the United States, you'll manage sales opportunities, develop customer relationships and drive revenue growth across Exemplar Global's certification, credentialing and training provider services.

As the only dedicated salesperson based in Australia, you'll work across Australia, Asia, India and the Middle East, managing an established client base alongside new business opportunities.

This is a hands-on role combining inbound enquiries, consultative B2B sales, account management and targeted business development, with realistic sales targets and an active pipeline of opportunities.

You'll work closely with colleagues across the global business, including Sales, Marketing and Account Services, to support customer acquisition, retention and growth.

About the Person

You're a commercially minded sales professional who enjoys building relationships, understanding customer needs and turning opportunities into results.

You'll bring experience in B2B sales, business development or account management, ideally within certification, accreditation, credentialing, training, education or professional services. Experience selling services to organisations rather than physical products would be particularly relevant.

You're equally comfortable developing new business and nurturing existing customer relationships. You take a consultative approach to selling, ask the right questions and understand the importance of delivering a positive customer experience.

Working remotely, you're organised, self-motivated and accountable. You're confident managing your own pipeline, proactive in identifying opportunities and comfortable working with customers and colleagues across international markets.

Duties

  • Manage inbound sales enquiries, qualify opportunities and convert prospective customers.
  • Conduct discovery conversations to understand customer needs and recommend suitable services.
  • Prepare tailored proposals, quotations and commercial solutions.
  • Undertake targeted outbound business development to generate new opportunities.
  • Build relationships with customers, identifying opportunities for account growth, cross-selling and retention.
  • Manage the sales pipeline, maintaining accurate CRM records, forecasts and reporting.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support customer requirements and successful sales outcomes.
Skills/Experience
  • Demonstrated experience in B2B sales, business development or account management.
  • Strong consultative selling skills and a proven ability to convert opportunities into revenue.
  • Experience preparing proposals, quotations and customer-focused solutions.
  • Confidence building relationships with a range of stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Strong CRM skills, including pipeline management, reporting and forecasting.
  • Excellent communication, organisation and time management skills, with the ability to work independently.
Experience in certification, accreditation, credentialing, training, education, professional services or membership associations would be highly regarded, as would familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM systems.
