ACN is Australia's national professional organisation for nurses, dedicated to advancing nurse leadership and strengthening the profession.

Through membership, education, advocacy, events and leadership programs, ACN connects and supports nurses throughout their careers while contributing to better health outcomes across Australia.

About the Role
This newly created senior leadership opportunity for a commercially minded membership professional with a proven ability to drive growth.

Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer, you'll lead ACN's membership strategy, with a strong focus on acquisition, expanding market reach and growing revenue.

With an established national profile and broad range of programs, ACN offers significant potential to grow its membership base. You'll have the opportunity to bring fresh thinking, challenge established approaches and shape a commercially focused strategy that delivers measurable results. Alongside acquisition, you'll strengthen member engagement and retention, working collaboratively across ACN to build a high-performing membership function.

The role will commence as a two-year contract, with a view to becoming an ongoing permanent position based on the success of the membership growth strategy.

About the Person
You're an accomplished membership leader with a strong commercial mindset and a proven track record of driving membership acquisition, growth and revenue within a professional association or member-based organisation.

You'll understand what attracts new members, how to identify untapped markets and what it takes to develop a compelling membership offering that delivers genuine value.

Strategic in your thinking and confident in your approach, you'll bring the ability to turn opportunities into practical initiatives and measurable results. You'll be comfortable challenging established approaches, influencing senior stakeholders and working collaboratively across the organisation to drive growth.

Most importantly, you'll be an ambitious, forward-thinking leader who sees opportunity, brings fresh ideas and is excited by the prospect of shaping and growing a national membership portfolio.
