Lori Modde
CEO, Outdoors NSW & ACT
Lori Modde is a mother, a company director, a general manager, board director, council member, committee member, public officer, volunteer, and a mentor to many.
Involved in community development, economic development, tourism, and the Outdoor industry she has made strides and advancements in the last 18months in her work and volunteering that many have benefited from at a crucial time.
David Ali
CEO, MND Australia
David commenced as CEO in March 2021. Following his 20-year passion volunteering on MND-related boards and in other ways to make a difference for people living with motor neurone disease in Victoria, nationally and globally, as CEO David hopes his contribution at an operational level will improve the impact for people affected by MND today and in the future. David has held executive roles across the Victorian Parliament and the Victorian Public Service, was CEO of the Commission for Children and Young People, a management consultant, and CEO of IPAA Victoria before joining the MND Australia team. David is Vice Chair and Hon Treasurer of the International Alliance of ALS/MND Associations.
Michelle Rose
CEO, Association of Rotational Moulders Australasia Ltd
Michelle's education started with a Degree in Hotel Management working in a range of hospitality positions within 5-star hotels. From there, Michelle jumped sides to step into the role of a professional conference organiser, developing a unique perspective of a client with knowledge and experience of hotels.
In 2006, Michelle accepted a position with the Association of Rotational Moulders Australasia (ARMA) as the Deputy Executive Officer, managing conferences, workshops, international study tours, membership, marketing, websites and more. As is usual with associations, we need to be multi-skilled, and she took any opportunity available to learn.
Michelle believes we need to be constantly growing and developing and in line with this she gained a Dual Diploma in Business and Management and a Certificate in Governance for Not for Profits.
At the start of 2021 Michelle stepped into the role of CEO.
She lives by “Be kind, work hard, family first, smile often, be honest, travel when possible, never stop learning and laugh always!”
