Networking Lunch (Perth): Securing Your Economic Future - Living Without Grants
The Networking
We invite you to take a couple of hours out of your day to connect with others in the industry to discuss high level topics of real importance, develop new relationships and gain critical information. This is a rare opportunity to network with other CEOs and senior management professionals from charities, associations and other non-profit organisations. Ample opportunity will be given for you to discuss issues and network with others.
The Topic
“There is no doubt that the economic world in which not-for-profit organisations is in transition (again!). The significant shift in the manner in which government provides grants, the squeeze in the economy has seen CSR retracting, fund raising is under pressure and is more difficult to secure from the general population, are all indications that business as usual is the end of the business. SO … how do we adjust so our services are available to our clients? This session will explore and gives some tips about surviving, perhaps even thriving, in the current context through a different approach to relationships with funding sources, building more innovative income streams and being in control rather than a victim of circumstances.”
