Association Educational Program (Sydney): Creating a Behaviours Based Culture

It’s easy to define a countries ‘culture’; to the rest of the world, Aussies have a laid back ‘mateship’ culture, the Germans have a strong work ethic and, well, everything is BIGGER and better in the US of A!

Defining your business culture can sometimes be more complex,

and when people speak about ‘culture’ it’s often perceived it’s

because they have an issue in their workplace – but it may be the

opposite, they may have a great culture and understand that like

most things it needs to be nurtured and looked after so that weeds

don’t creep in between the cracks.

Business culture at the very least, is related to behaviours, ethics,

and etiquette. A business culture will encompass an organisation’s

values, visions, working style, beliefs and habits, all of which are

dynamic and fluid - so how do we work with what we have got to

ensure a productive and effective organisation? A hands on deep dive into your organisation! Questioning the Status Quo – doubt is ok!

All your questions will be answered during this engaging workshop, including:

  • What behaviours do we look for in our staff?
  • How do we define behaviour?
  • How do we measure behaviour?

The key takeaways you will gain from this workshop include:

  • An understanding of a process that will enable change
  • A framework to implement to your organisation
  • Ideas and tools of how to define and measure culture
  • How to include behaviour kpi’s into performance agreements
  • A passion to get it right
