The Networking

We invite you to take a couple of hours out of your day to connect with others in the industry to discuss high level topics of real importance, develop new relationships and gain critical information. This is a rare opportunity to network with other CEOs and senior management professionals from charities, associations and other non-profit organisations. The Mortgage and Finance Association of Australia (MFAA) is the peak industry body providing service and representation to more than 12,000 Professional Finance Brokers (mortgage and finance brokers, mortgage managers and aggregators).


Join Stephen Hale, Head - Marketing and Communications, MFAA as he discusses how the MFAA is improving member engagement and retention within the compulsory membership model viz.


Stephen will share his research and findings from the MFAA Pulse Report which focuses on; identification of best practice in association management and strategies to increase association engagement.


The MFAA have recognised they need to change their members’ perception of value. To deliver success, it is imperative to leverage the learnings of industry best-practice. In his address, Stephen will outline his learnings, steps and processes the MFAA have undertaken and their strategic initiatives for the future.

The Speaker
Stephen Hale, Head - Marketing and Communications at Mortgage & Finance Association of Australia
 

Stephen has been in the role of Head of Marketing and Communications for the MFAA for over two years. He manages the key communications channels from social media to web-based platforms, and is responsible for the management of media including industry and consumer publications. His team delivers the marketing strategy aimed at membership engagement and consumer awareness. As part of industry connectivity he is the MFAA representative with the sponsors of the Association.


Stephen commenced his career as a management cadet with the Coles Myers group before joining a News Ltd Division where he achieved the role of National Marketing and Sales Director. He was a Director at the Accor Services Group before taking on the role of Managing Director of two agencies at Ogilvy PR.
