Networking Lunch (Melbourne): Creating a Powerful Membership Growth Plan

Registration for this event has closed. Please contact AuSAE on +61 7 3394 8381 or email info@ausae.org.au if you would like to attend.

The Networking

We invite you to take a couple of hours out of your day to connect with others in the industry to discuss high level topics of real importance, develop new relationships and gain critical information. This is a rare opportunity to network with other senior management professionals from associations, charities and other non-profit organisations. Ample opportunity will be given for you to discuss issues and network with others.

The Topic

As a membership based not for profit organisation, the Institute of Public Accountants (IPA) has a sound leadership foundation that is underpinning its growth. In the past two years, the IPA has undertaken a major overhaul of its brand and market positioning and is now recognised in the top 25 professional accounting bodies globally. In a recent Beaton’s survey of professional associations, the IPA was graded highest over ten similar organisations, particularly in overall performance and member engagement. Attend this session to hear how the IPA’s member engagement has secured a very strong 25,000 member and student base including significant growth in China.

The Speaker
Professor Andrew Conway FIPA is the Chief Executive Officer of the Institute of Public Accountants - one of the three legally recognised professional accounting bodies in Australia with more than 24,000 members and students in over 50 countries. A former Australian Government Treasury Ministry Chief of Staff, Andrew holds the record of being the youngest CEO of a public entity, when in 2009 he was 28 at the time of his appointment.

In 2015 AuSAE announces a change to the AuSAE Networking Luncheon Series pricing structure. Following two years of complimentary event attendance for our membership base, in 2015 a small charge has been implemented to reduce member ‘no show’ rates at these events. We thank you for your support and understanding while we trial this new system.
