AuSAE is committed to supporting emerging leaders in the association sector. We are proudly investing in a new generation of association leaders, empowering them to challenge the norms, explore new horizons, and establish fresh benchmarks in innovation and association management.

About the Emerging Leaders Scholarship

The Emerging Leaders program is about identifying future leaders in the association sector, developing their skills and capabilities to help them lead change and shape the association sector so that it remains vibrant and sustainable in the future.

Provided by the AuSAE and Adelaide Convention Centre, the Emerging Leaders Scholarship aims to support outstanding individuals in pursuing professional development in association management, while affording them the opportunity to attend the 2023 AuSAE Conference and Exhibition (ACE) in Canberra.

The Emerging Leaders Scholarship is awarded to five (5) exceptional individuals annually to support their professional development journey into association leadership. The 2023 scholarship includes travel, accommodation, and registration to the Annual AuSAE Conference & Exhibition (ACE) in Canberra on the 28-29 November 2023.

Applications for the 2023 Emerging Leaders Scholarships are now open. Scholarship applications close at 5pm (AEDT) on Friday, 27 October 2023.

Eligibility & Selection Criteria

To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:

  • Be a current employee of an association or not-for-profit organisation.
  • Have  less than three (3) years of experience in the association sector.
  • Reside and work in Australia.
  • Complete and submit your application before the closing deadline, 5pm on Friday, 27 October 2023.
  • Confirm your attendance at the ACE 2023 Conference & Exhibition on 28-29 November in Canberra.

  • Submit your application before the closing deadline, 5pm on Friday, 27 October 2023.

  • Applicants will be notified of the outcome during the first week of November.
